Betatronix's overhaul and redesign of a major Aerospace cargo plane

When it comes to lighting control aboard an aircraft, reliability, durability, and accuracy are all crucial. At 30,000 feet, there is simply no room for failure. That is why one of the most prominent Aerospace companies included Betatronix in their quest to overhaul and redesign the lighting control system on one of their cargo planes. To help them develop a more rugged solution, Betatronix did the following:
  • Specified and produced a modified MIL Spec “C” resistance taper, allowing more precise control for aircraft operators
  • Incorporated a unique tab washer design enabling installation in two unique crew stations
  • Increased both reliability and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) utilizing advanced materials and manufacturing techniques
  • Designed a component to meet both DO-160 and MIL Spec testing requirements
