Betatronix is a leading supplier of potentiometers used in wind turbines around the world. Our potentiometer is used to step up, or convert lower blade speeds into higher speeds via a gearbox on the generator, ultimately reducing the torque requirements. Electrical generation power both nuclear and fossil fuel stations similarly monitor and control the turbine speed by controlling the steam flow into the turbine.
